Sara Adams | President
Learn more about Sara.
Sara Adams is the current President of the CCRW and has resided in Idaho for the past 40 years with the last 9 years in Middleton.
An Iowa farm girl, she found her way to Idaho after college graduation in the early 80’s. Throughout her professional career, Sara has worked in various analytical and marketing/sales positions for Albertsons, Idaho First National Bank, Micron Technology, and Food Services of America. She will be finishing her career with over 20 years at FedEx as a Worldwide Account Manager.
Sara and her husband, Kirk Adams, are empty nesters who love the opportunity to visit their children out of state, explore the outdoors on horseback and spoil their grandchildren.
Community service has always been a priority to Sara. She served several years on the fundraising board for The Syringa House in Nampa—a safehouse for girls (6-17 years of age) that had been physically and sexually abused. Sara also spent 3 years with Girls on the Run, an organization supporting 3rd-6th grade girls through running, focused on teaching many life lessons. Her most recent community service endeavor has been My Happy Haven Treasure Valley, a nonprofit organization for women helping women who have been diagnosed with cancer. They provide women who live in the Treasure Valley facing the fear and struggles of cancer with a bedroom makeover. New carpet, paint, furniture, bedding and much more are all a part of the makeover. The goal is to reveal a room that will bring tears of joy to the eyes of the recipient and to provide a bedroom that will allow her to relax, rest and heal through her cancer journey. You can find Sara’s story of My Happy Haven and their first bedroom in Canyon County on CBS 2 News.

Family/Recreational & Leisure Interests:
I have been married for 37 years to my high school sweetheart David. We own and operate his family’s five generation farm in Canyon County. We are so proud to be part of the long rich heritage of Idaho agriculture. Together we have raised two amazing, bright, entrepreneurial grown children, Hailey & Jordan. Our kids were raised working on the farm and learned self-responsibility and accountability. They are both married to incredible individuals, and we have a beautiful one and half year-old miracle granddaughter. All the kids are strong in their Christian faith, tremendous hard workers, and both couples have their own successful businesses. When they were growing up attending public school in the Vallivue District and participating in various activities & sports, I was very involved in volunteering & working in many capacities, including substitute teaching, volunteering in the classroom, serving in the Parent Teacher Organization & on various athletic booster clubs, and helping in many capacities with their sports’ teams. My goal was to make education and sports’ involvement the best experience possible, not only for my own kids but for all children.
My interests and hobbies are varied: ATV adventuring, snow & water skiing, boating, horse-back riding, travel (in the U.S. & internationally), reading (particularly historical fiction, history & political books), home decorating & design, spending time with family and friends and watching a good movie. I’m a little bit of a thrill seeker and went skydiving for my 50th Growing up, I spent time backpacking in the Idaho Wilderness area and enjoying Idaho’s beautiful lakes, rivers, & hiking trails, and I still love spending time in the mountains. It’s always fun when I get to use my creativity in decorating & organizing for special events, such as weddings, special church events & Republican Party events. I’ve loved politics since I was a child and follow Idaho and national politics very closely.
Our family is currently investing considerable time and capitol in Canyon County with a new extensive business venture, an event center on our farm property. Our goal is to provide a multi-use facility which highlights what 2C has to offer by partnering with other local businesses and wineries in our growing Agri-tourism market. The business will be community oriented and share a piece of our beautiful and rich culture of Canyon County agriculture with those who visit. We love Canyon County and want to both help in the growth process we’re experiencing here and in the preservation of agriculture and our Conservative way of life.

Lori Bishop| Second Vice President
Lori Ann Bishop has a deep love for the Great State of Idaho! She has roots in three different parts of Idaho: Her ancestors were some of the early settlers in eastern Idaho, her parents were childhood sweethearts in the Treasure Valley, and Lori Ann was blessed to grow up in the beautiful Clearwater River area of north central Idaho. Lori graduated from Kamiah High School and earned a degree in Management from Brigham Young University.
Lori Ann has served in many capacities in the Middleton School District: PTA, Hiring Committees, Curriculum Adoption Committees, and Co-Chair of Keep Middleton Schools Strong and the Ad Hoc Bond Committee. You can often find Lori in the stands at a sporting event or in the MHS auditorium supporting her children and their friends. Working with the young men and women in her church congregation also keeps her busy. For Lori Ann, being a Republican means being efficient, equitable, and conscientious in matters of public policy. Lori Ann and her husband Brett own a commercial construction company. They have been married for 27 years and have six children and one much-loved, adorable grandbaby.

Theresa Bradford | Secretary
Learn more about Theresa.
I am a Canyon County resident of 12 years and a lifelong Republican.
I am the Secretary for the Canyon County Republican Women’s club where I volunteer several hundred hours each year dedicated to republican causes. Serving in that capacity, I have been fortunate to be involved with an exceptional team of women who strive to keep Canyon County ‘Republican Red’.
Along with the secretary’s normal duties of keeping the minutes and maintaining accurate membership contact records, I have participated in the numerous CCRW sponsored fund-raising events, candidates’ forums, and community outreach and membership drives. which most recently include:
- Working with a website designer to create canyoncountyrepublicanwomen.org
- Worked the vice president to design questionnaires for our countywide candidates, mayoral, city council, and school board candidates.
- Uploaded candidates’ information, questionnaire answers, and photos to the website.
- Appointed by Gov. Otter as Trustee for the Idaho Driving Businesses Licensing Board, where I recently served as chair.
- Appointed by Gov. Little to the Counselors and Marriage and Family Therapists Board.
- Participated in many, many fundraising events, coordinated donations, set up and clean up.
- Carpooled members so that they, too, could participate in IFRW meetings and events in Boise, Coeur d’Alene, and Lewiston.
- Created and maintained a spreadsheet for keeping accurate track of volunteer hours including reporting those hours to the state IFRW.
- Created and maintain a master attendance worksheet.
- Created the Outstanding Volunteer award program to recognize the work our members do in our community to promote Republican values.
- In the 2019-2021 reporting period which ended in June, I logged over 1000 volunteer hours to the club; logging over 200 hours, alone, working on the CCRW bylaws update that was adopted in May 2021.
- Published our first newsletter and working on the second edition.
- In 2020, I was pleased and humbled to be an honoree of the IFRW Tribute to Women.
- I served as secretary for Canyon County Republican Central Committee from June 2021-May 2022.
My work in the CCRW led to being elected to the Idaho Federation of Republican Women’s Board of Directors where I serve as 1st Vice President.
I am honored to be twice selected in Idaho Federation’s statewide election making me an IFRW delegate to the National Federation of Republican Women’s Biennial Convention in Indianapolis 2019, and Orlando 2021, to represent Idaho’s exceptional republican voice in shaping that body.
During each election cycle beginning in 2014 I have volunteered 3 days a week at CCRCC’s Election Headquarters helping in whatever capacity they needed. In 2020, I was selected to manage that office.
In that capacity I, organized volunteers to put on a Trump Car Rally and Appreciation Dinner with live music and great speakers. Collected and maintained accurate contact information list for the candidates. Published the candidates Voter’s Guide. Organized volunteers in a very successful “sign bloom” which helped candidates get their signs out. Coordinated volunteers to help stamp and stuff mailers. Extended the hours open to the public to 9am – 5pm and included Saturday’s making candidate information conveniently available six days a week to the community as they searched for information on our candidates, learn about ballot initiatives, register to vote Republican, and, of course purchase highly sought-after Trump memorabilia. Organized a very fun Get Out the Vote sign wave on election day. Organized and participated in, “A Ride to the Polls”. This program coordinated volunteers with people who needed a ride to the polls on election day.
